Apple Pie Drink

Okay, I have been afraid to share my projects in the past. WHY you ask? Last year we held a small craft fair at my house with a few friends. My daughter made DUCT TAPE flowers for it and ended up selling more of those than I did my cards!! WHAT?? When your daughter sells more duct tape flowers, it sure doesn't say much about your cards! My cards have come a long way since then, so here is my CCS1 Challenge Project.

It is a recipe card, card. When I designed the set "Holiday Sentiments" I wanted to include something for when I make cookies and other yummy holiday treats. This sentiment makes a great tag for cookie exchanges and such.

My texture is the zig zag sewing around the edges. I printed the actual recipe on card stock from my computer, glued it to another piece of colored card stock, and added a little pocket to keep the recipe in. Pull the little red ribbon up, and the full recipe is revealed. This card is great because you can use it as a "free" little gift to co-workers, friends, etc when the Christmas Cash Flow is short. Use whatever recipe you want, and attach to a jar or plate of whatever it is you bake/mix up.

  1. This is so cool looking Laura! Love the zig zag stitching...great colors and that sentiment is PERFECT! Love this idea and will use it for the holidays.

As far as duct tape flowers...uuumm, no explanation! I can see how that would definitely be a blow, I mean we are talking duct tape! Yikes! Good for your daughters, but what a blow to poor ole' mom!
Some things just keep you guessing... :oP
