Happy Birthday My Sassy Friends

Chelsea here checking in on this beautiful Thursday and it's so good to be back! I was on Creative Visions DT 3 and had such a great time with such a great group of girls I just had to apply again. I missed Laura and her amazing designs too!

Today I'm bringing you an altered project using Creative Vision stamps. Scrapbooking and card making is my 1st addiction in the crafting world but paint it yours pottery is my 2nd. So I thought what a better way to showcase Creative Vision stamps than on a piece of pottery so here we are:
I used Sassy Happy Birthday from Creative Vision. I first painted the little platter in pink and then stamped the cuppy and senti on the plate and filled it all in with some color.
I also thought the cuppy needed a cute little pick so I put this one together. I just cut a few circles and inked the inner one. I stamped the cuppy from Sassy Happy Birthday on it and added lots of Stickles. It's the perfect little surprise for someone having a birthday coming up.

Here are a few close ups of the stamping on the platter.
Thanks for stopping by today and here's wishing you all an early Happy Weekend!

Ahhhh isn't this so pretty
- that is what she will say.

 - and then WHAM! She opens up the cute little bow, reads the first sentiment (will now roll her eyes and hold her breath cause she knows it is coming)

then lifts the card open for another WHAM! heheheheheh  mooohaaahaaaa (that is my evil laugh).

Have a Happy Birthday Krissy! Love you lots and lots and lots!

End of the road...

This is my last post as a member of the design team.  It's been a blast but it's time to move on.  The new design team starts October 1st and I'm looking forward to their work.  Time got away from me this month, so here are my final projects for September.

I used Sentiment Single I'm Your Friend.

Sentiment came from Sassy Happy Birthday.

I used Sentiment Single Sending Love.

I want to say a big thank you to Laura for allowing me to be part of her dream and I wish you much success!

Have a great day!

Birthday set & Would you like to win some stamps??

I thought I would make a birthday set of some kind and decided to go with a card and coordinating tag.  I pulled out my Sassy Happy Birthday set and got to work.

This was actually a fairly quick and easy project to make and card & tag sets like this would be excellent to make in advance and have on hand.  I use gift bags often in lieu of wrapping paper and it's super easy to stuff the bag with a bit of tissue and tie on your decorated tag.

Want to win some free stamps? Make a card and get a chance to win... Check out the details on the Sketch Girl blog.  Contest ends at midnight on Sept. 29th!

Have a great day!

Supplies:  Pattern paper from October Afternoon, Fiskars Star punch, Spellbinder's Tag die, Memento Tuxedo black ink, SU celery ribbon, SU spiral punch, circle punch.  Stamp set is Sassy Happy Birthday.  Button from PTI in berry sorbet. Twine

Sassy Happy Birthday

Good Morning! I'm back from my little vacation and want to share with you some cards I made using Sassy Happy Birthday. I'm posting these cards together because they match!

Sassy Happy Birthday has some really funny sayings and I'm going to get tons of use out of this set. This first card uses a sentiment that may be my favorite in the whole set. I want to use this sentiment on a card for my sister because she's 10 years older than me and I enjoy giving her a hard time about her age.

The sentiment on this card is one I hear twice a year from my kids. "Mommy, what are you getting me for [insert sister's name here] birthday?" How funny is that! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
