Good Saturday Morning!
I have created a little tutorial for you today. FUN STUFF!
These 2x2 tiles are great with matching recipe cards for recipe holders, I have also given them as gifts for picture holders with a picture I have taken, and they work super around the house as little note holders. FYI, they sold great when I took them to a craft fair around Christmas time, they make great Teacher or Sunday School gifts.
Hope you enjoy them as much as I have!
Tutorial for stamping on 2X2 Tiles
2X2 Tiles - Purchase in large piece from Home Depot or Lowes
Stamps of your choice (That will fit on 2X2 tile) (Here I am using a Flower Flourish from CCS, a time for Prayer, and the Bee from CCS Happy camper)
WHAT YOU NEED:
Scissors
Sharpie Markers
Staz-On Ink
Heat Gun
Clear Embossing Powder
Embossing Buddy
E600 glue
Small binder Clip
1. Cut tiles from main piece & trim sides
2. Sand the sides smooth
3. Clean well
4. Use embossing Buddy all over tile
5. Stamp your image with staz-on
6. Pour embossing powder over image & tap off
7. Use your heat gun until the image shines
8. Color image as desired - I used Sharpie...(You can use inks or chalk as well, just heat set either with embossing gun or in the oven on 250 degrees for 10 min)
9. Spread E6000 glue around sides of tile and wrap ribbon around the sides and cut off excess.Embellish now with bling pearls or other embellishments.
10. CHOICE: You can cover with Diamond Glaze or Spray with Top Coat to seal. (Here I covered with Diamond Glaze) Be sure to let this dry.
11. Now place your binder clip on back with E6000 glue & let dry.
NOW, GO...look through all your stamps and see what you can come up with! :-)
Hope you enjoyed this tutorial and that your weekend is full of fun crafty stuff! ;-)(in the picture is my daughter, shes so cute ***hehe***)
See ya Monday!

Happy Camper
I really like to use card sketches - its a good starting place when I want to get creative and use my time efficiently. I have used this sketch quite a bit, great way to use up some of the scraps.
I used the Happy Camper and tree stamp from the Happy Camper Set - this is a versatile set for anyone who likes camping, hiking, the outdoors and more and the tree can be used for anything.

Dont forget only a couple days left for free shipping this month :)

Road Trip!
With summer officially here, I am sure there are a few road trips planned...here is a quick and easy idea for a portable game. I made this one for tic tac toe, but you could use any game variation. I used a metal tin for the base/holder for the game - great for keeping all the pieces together and easy for travel in a car, on the plane etc. I backed the pieces for the game with Basic Grey magnetic discs. Stamps used were Bug Off and the bug from Happy Camper and the sticks alpha for the front cover.

Not many road trips planned for me and the kids but we plan to make some more travel games and use for the beach and any day trips we do.

Lots to catch up on!
I had some family things to tend to and missed popping in here...so here's two quick cards for today's post and I have some catching up to do on all the beautiful work on here!
Are you thinking Christmas yet? Its my favorite holiday and I admit I have already tucked away a few things for gifts. So here's the first card to kick off my card making for this year :)
I used the Sticks alpha for the Happy Holidays and the tree is from the Happy Camper Set...I added stickles to mimic the decorations on the tree.

I made this generic card using the bug from the Happy Camper Set...I couldnt resist when I saw a sketch for a card made with a handcut flower...the bugs just fit :)

ok, off to start catching up on blog posts :)

Scrapbook page...
I am an outdoor girl and getting out and exploring the beautiful great outdoors we have is one of my favorite things to do...this photo was taken from a day hike in April. I used the Happy Camper set for the "take a hike" title and the trees at the bottom of the page. I stamped the trees on kraft paper and cut them out and pop dotted them. I used a QK die cut for the photo corners and used the letter "i" from the Sticks Alphabet set to stamp on the photo corners.
