Supplies: red, green and white cardstock (I used glitter paper for the red and green); snowflake die; circle die (4" , 3 3/4" and 2 1/2" circles needed); black ink; watercolor pencils and blender pen; foam dots; adhesive; corner rounder; acrylic block; Jingle Jangle stamp set from CCS.
I started by cutting a 4 1/4" X 8 1/2" strip of paper from green. I folded it in half then cut out a 4" circle leaving about 1 1/2" of the folded edge. I also cut out a 3 3/4" circle from red.
I then cut out the center of the red circle (2 1/2"). I used my Sizzix snowflake die and cut out a red, green and white snowflake.
Stamp an image of Santa from the Jingle Jangle stamp set. Color with watercolor pencils and blend with a blender pen. Cut out image.
Adhere white snowflake to front of green card. Adhere Santa with a foam dot over snowflake. (place the red circle over Santa and the snowflake for proper placement prior to adhering them).
Use foam dots to adhere red circle on front of card over Santa and snowflake.
Stamp "Have You Been Naughty or Nice?" sentiment on green with black ink. Trim piece and round off corners.
Adhere red and green snowflakes to inside of card. Stamp "That's What I Thought!" sentiment on inside of card with black ink next to red and green snowflakes.
And there you have it....a cute little round card. You can use this technique to make a snowglobe card or an ornament like my husband suggested.
Thanks for looking!
