...and these are a few of my favorite things!

This week's challenge is to use a favorite technique.  I would have to say that my favorite technique is dry embossing with my embossing folders.  I find so many uses for them and this technique seems to add a little "oomph" when something might be lacking on a card. 

The card I am showing here was made by using an embossing folder for the background, then I added some elegant ribbong and some felt snowflakes I cut out using some die cuts.  I also used a die cut for the piece the sentiment is embossed on.  The sentiment I used comes from the Holiday Sentiments set from CCS (I think this is my favorite!).  I sponged ink around the outside of the card to finish it off, and voila...an elegant Christmas card!
