Why shouldn't it be all about us for a change?!
Any other day it is all about family and work right?
so...
Every summer some of my dearest friends get together
for a long girl's weekend. I look forward to it every year!
We chat, eat, shop, eat again....(sigh) I'm gaining weight just thinking about it!
Anywho, my best-est girls would love this invite.
This is from the Creative Clear Stamp set - Girl's Weekend - so many options to choose from in this marvelous set. I paired it up with the Girl Friday line from Cosmo Cricket - zipped my Sizzix Tag Round into my Cuddlebug -
so I could frame those two lovely gals
once I popped them up on some dimensionals.
My Janome Sew Mini added more dimension by zig-zagging around the card. Some polka dot ribbon, edging and all done!
Then, because I can never leave well enough alone....(lol!) I spied these clear glass magnets on my fridge from Michael's dollar bin and went to work on some fun wine charms for our girl's weekend. This way we won't confuse our Lemon Drop martini from our Cosmo
(yeah, I know they are two different colors - but work with me here :)
I carefully seperated the glass from the magnet - replaced the inside with a circle punch stamped with the martini glass from CCS - Girl's Weekend. Next I added Ruby Slippers Stickles to my drink - let it dry, threaded some ribbon through a hole punch in my punched circle and glued the glass front back on. It is much more sparkly - live and in person.
After all of that fuss - I do think a Cosmo is calling my name...
Hugs,
